What (if anything) is the reason this is happening?

I'm getting it from here, of course. It's blocked by the router, and is unlikely to be anything on my computer causing the issue.

I think you've misunderstood me. gfycat.com is a video hosting site. I uploaded a short video of me downloading it from here, aka powdertoy.co.uk, and what it looks like when the router blocks it
