Could add sound to some things like:
fire, water, and explosions which in reality is a mixture of materials tranformção wind with fire and pressure.

Sound in TPT won't ever happen. Making them sound good would be almost impossible, and it would be limited to just a NOTE element at best. Trying to add sounds to reactions wouldn't work at all. The code just doesn't support that, also it would be very hard to create sounds properly at low fps and also when there are a lot of things going on at once. People would find ways to create the most horrible sounding things, and also most things just wouldn't sound good no matter how sound was done.

It can be imagined. But what jacob1, said is true so there won't be sound ever.

Someone HAS made a note element, but it needs a bunch of .dlls and is vaguely broken. It's not getting into release any time soon.

You. Just. Do. Not. Say. That.

Jacob1 is not the lead developer, he is the newest developer/moderator of all, Simon decides all, not jacob.

What jacob1 says, might be true, don't trust him.

    I believe it's @mniip

Man, think about the way the game works!
In TPT, every particle's surroundings are examined and changes are made according to it. EVERY FRAME. Thats a helluva lot of calculations every second. Adding sounds is the last thing we need.

It's not vaguely broken or needs a bunch of dlls, it uses only SDL. It's just that I might've chosen a wrong algorithm for sound generation and therefore it's slow

Actually mniip is the newest developer. I've been an official developer for 1.5 years.

Simon isn't around anymore to give the final say, but I know enough about the source and the goals of all the devs, that I can say no, there won't ever be sound for reactions. It's just something that nobody wants. TPT doesn't work like other games do.
