I'm a Chinese and I like your 'Toy' very much. But since my English is not so good, I can't understand many things in the Toy, and some of my friends are in the same problem.
It's enough that matter's names are translated.
Thanks.
Who know where there is a list of matters' name? I think I can make a comparison table of different Languages, then it will be more easily to use TPT.
I wish they, would make a translator for TPT (The Powder Toy.) you can also go to IRC and post this in the powder toy's chat room, http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=web-5 heres the link and add your username than put #powder and add what ever code it brings to you. I'll screenshoot you an image I'll atleast try.
If he has bad english, it might be better to talk through the forum, so everyone can take their time in trying to communicate properly. Also, bugging devs through IRC instead of the forums is probably just going to annoy them, they can get around to reading the thread, you don't have to push yourselves on them.
Sorry. Don't go to IRC.
There's a couple of problems.For one:
<jacob1>we don't have translations because the code and especially the font doesn't support it
The devs probably won't do it.They don't know any Chinese and are concentrating on other things to do for TPT.However, anyone can help translate and release a translated version of the game.In theory, they just have to download TPT's source code, compile it,translate the relevant bits, and release it for all to share, but I haven't done it myself,so I'm not too sure what to do.
But. You have, to ask @Simon for the code source has I know of getting TPT's source code. Theres a korean version, I looked up The Powder Toy in school and it sent me there.
That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen out of your mouth. Just follow the wiki's instructions to obtain the source code and compile it.You don't have to ask Simon for any code.
