How to use mods on Mac OS X?

Hey, I was wondering if there is any way to use some/any of the mods on a mac? I really don't like Wine, so I don't want to use that, and I have Parallels, but it lags hard. Is there some obvious way to run them that I'm missing, or is it just impossible?

Use BootCamp, unless it doesn't support it.

Parallels is like Bootcamp, I just don't want to go and buy a new copy of windows just to run mods and Parallels itself slows me down.

Like I said a while ago, us mac members need a way to compile ourselves. There is no tutorial, and Xcode doesn't seem to work.

    thebeast808: Have you tried compiling?

Candunc: Do you have SDL/libbz libraries installed? Try unzipping, cd'ing to the source in terminal, then run make powder-x. What does it say?

I'll try it, I already have x-code installed, but I never thought to try and use it.

Alright, seeing as how I haven't seen any powder-x files in mods, I assume you mean the one in the package contents for the powder.app that we already have. So my only question is, where do I put the mod files when I make the powder-x?
