Replace a Specific Element with Another

    I need to replace metal with instant wire in a contraption that I have already built. How?

    in the console:
    !set type metl inst

    You could also use replace mode. Press the insert key (or semicolon), ctrl+alt select INWR, then select METL. When you draw over the METL it will be replaced with INWR. Anything else does nothing.
