So, my OS is Windows 7. I have extracted all the files, installed the 2010 Runtime. Anyone know what may cause this trouble - because my windows 7 is not good at telling me that. System specs: Pentium 4 3.0 gHz, 1.5 GB RAM, NVidia geForce 6200 video card with 512 MB ddr2 memory. I open any sse-version and it says "powder-sse/sse2/sse3 has stopped working. Please wait until Windows checks for a solution for the problem" . . . After that, the usual message "powder-sse/sse2/sse3 has encountered and needs to close. We are sorry for any inconvenience. <Close program>"
Yes, any SSE is supported on my processor(sse-sse2; my sse2 version 42.3 works) The windows 7 operating system doesn't want to tell what it is missing or what the problem is.
Hmmm... Never had that problem before. Its probably NOT Windows 7, since v43 works for me just fine, dispite the fact that I use 64 bit on different hardware. I bet the cause of this is in a log file somewhere. Try opening it again, go to Event Viewer, go to Windows Logs, click Application and click Date/Time twice. Click the latest one. Its that one usually, unless you have many things going on at once. Go to the details tab, and copy what it says under EventData and paste into this forum post, and maybe we could get a good look on whats going on here.
