Clicked game. then, at top of screen, 'recording' was on or something. (since when did this even have recording)

I x'd out to restart, and then this happened:

    dafuq

Also, now everything on the right side of my desktop is gone from being pushed back. wtf.

you should pay more attention to dialog boxes. when you press R (recording mode) it asks you if you are sure. you ignored that. your own fault.

I didn't see a dialog box. And, even so, why on earth would it make 300+ single-files into my desktop. wtf.

What I did: was in fullscreen. I disabled fullscreen. Perhaps pressing R accidentally, but not once did I see a dialog box.

it saves each frame in a separate file in ppm format. that is extremely fast, using some other way would add a serious portion of lag

yeah, sorry about that, when that "recording" feature was designed it was done sort of badly. It shouldn't need to spam all those files directly next to the exe, it would be much more organized in folders. I will do that eventually.

Also it would be too laggy to convert it into a video right there, so it outputs .ppm's so that you can convert them later, there is a video recorder lua script out there. ppm's are almost useless by themselves unless you know how to open them. I would try shift-deleting them all, might take a while though. possibly a lua script could delete them all for you if you can't get it.

In the future i'll make recording only available from lua, 'p' for screenshot will stay the same though.

601 frames were made on my desktop, 355MB, what even?

hilarious. It should definitely make it's own folder for a video, to prevent random frame spam in whatever folder it happens to be in from someone not expecting it, or somehow enabling it without knowing.. .-.

PPM literally uses no compression. 612px wide, 384px high, 3BPP deep, 601 frame long, that's 423 megabytes

wow, perhaps I left out a few when selecting them all, that's pretty big files size, lol. No harm done, just fairly annoying as I had to delete them all and re-add the missing icons.

off-topic: also, how did I even manage to mispell my username xD
