I don't see why it's necessary either, if you like the thread, just upvote the first post. Better suggestions get more upvotes usually.

Also for most threads they don't need to be rated. A thread with someone asking "how do I make local saves?" doesn't need to have a 1 star rating, they were only asking for help.

Anyone can give a +1 but not a -1 so lets just spam the upvote. The -1 button was removed threads got trolled fast but thread ranks you need a purpose and jacob, simon can design his own style of thread ranks.
