I think this is a good idea and many people could make new kind of art with this. So if you could save pressure/velocity in a save it would be nice. This is where the idea is from There are some examples with pictures in that thread :D I'm not sure if it's hard to code or something but it would be great if this would be implemented.
Uses: Make awesome new art, can save bombs while they're exploding and still keep the same explosive power, you can think of more. :D :D
You would also need to save particle velosity, the data regarding if a particle is in the process of a collision, you would also have to save ambient heat data, air pressure and directional air velocity.
In other words, you have just made saves sizably larger.
thanks for making thread for me and giving credit. greatly appreciated! :)

Particle velocity is already saved, and I don't think any collision data is needed (I believe the only collision data we actually have anywhere in the game is FLAG_STAGNANT, which is not particularly important).
Also, ambient heat data would only need to be saved if ambient heat is enabled, which I suspect isn't the case for most saves.
so would it be posssible to add the function?
If they can do stickmen and stickman rocket boots, this is possible:D
no
but there's just 1 guy actively developing powder-toy.
there are way more
