Cannot Publish a Save

I have recently 'updated' my powder toy program using the new beta version. Since then (2 days ago), I have been working on a save to be published. I first saved with without publishing, but when I tried to publish the save, the program said that the beta version is incompatible for publishing saves.

So, after me re-downloading the latest 'normal' program, I try to access this unpublished save and publish it, since I am not using beta anymore. But then I can't open my file here, as the program states that this file is corrupt by being from a newer version of powder toy.

So I am here to ask how I can publish the work that I have done in this save, or at least retrieve the work on that save to the alpha version, and publish it there.

Hope you get what I'm saying, this is turning into a problem :/ (I don't want to lose an hour of work).

I'll probably add a warning so that in future betas it will tell you this as soon as you start it. Often times though the save format can change and they really aren't compatible, so it's needed

there is no simple way for you to convert it back ... so i'll just give it to you

Thanks so much, I hope others don't fall into the same problem as I did

Also it seems to me that wherever "Low density GOLD #2" has been used it's slower than plain/"Low density GOLD #1" lol

Low-density gold #2 seems to work just as well as the #1 material, but I have never put it into electronics.

Anyways, I can't publish this work in the end, so I have to start over.

    Thanks anyways

Ca you lock this topic? The problem is unsolvable for me, and I don't want people to see my ideas before they are published (or else they may do it before me).

maybe you opened it to see in the beta version (88.0)? Open it in 87.2 and it can be published. The fact that it has a thumbnail shows that it was saved in the release version
Locked by jacob1: lock requested anyway ...
