Strange Behavior

I don't know if this is in the right section but when i attempted to save one of my peices of work (I had already saved this but wanted to save this as the same name) my computer came up with a very strange error that told me the application had asked to be terminated in a very strange way
when i clicked OK the game was hung and would not respond i quit it and when i went back on it my game had not saved and my progress was lost
this has only occoured once but is there anything that may have caused this to happen
i have not modded my or edited game in any way

this has been reported has happening occasionally by many people. We have tested and debugged many times, but can't find it. Although we did do a lot of fixes between the last version (86.1) and now (2.5 months later). It's very likely one of the many things we did fixed it. Beta 86.2 specifically might have fixed this, but since all the changes made are still in beta, it can't be confirmed that it's fixed until people stop reporting the bug.
You could try beta 86.2 if you wanted, there are some slight incompatibilities in PSTN with version 86.1 though, and also it would constantly ask you to update to version 87 which can't save.
