    so it was a virus then? What did it do? (also, I would recommend just posting the solution here for people who aren't even registered)

    ok. At least it was nothing serious then, just something simple.

    Also, if you hold shift and press delete (or hit the del button), it will skip the recycling bin, very useful, I discovered this one time.

    I always felt suspicious about people who don't post the source code of their mods...this gives me a reason to be more suspicious. ._.

    What to learn from this:
    1) http://virustotal.com for new .exe files.
    2) ALWAYS ask for source code!
    3) FOR WINDOWS http://www.sandboxie.com/ or even a virtual machine (https://www.virtualbox.org/ + a Linux .iso file, see tutorials online) if you decide to run it.

     A bad keylogger can do that, if it constantly loops to check if each possible key is pressed or not.
