random files appear!

a files called powder.pref and stdout get appearing when i open powder toy, how do i stop this.

powder.pref is the preferences file, you need it to save your settings and login.
the stdout appearing and not disappearing (saying "Unable to open directory"), and stderr appearing might be a bug, I think the new version was not supposed to have those files anymore, but i'm not sure. I can fix that error above, and then everything but powder.pref should disappear once you close the game. -
what software should powder.pref be opend with?
and you know the scrol button, how do i get the circle on powder toy to grow faster.

Just open it with Notepad. It won't look like anything easy to read, it's written in JSON and keeps just general stuff like data about your username, ID and session key (don't share this!) -

the key that says '[' and '{' on it, right next to it is another key that says ']' and '}'. right to the right of the letter 'p'.
The scroll wheel is still usually faster though (except for really large sizes that for whatever reason the newer versions don't allow)
