The update messed with a bunch of stuff with the deco: like if you choose a color then edit it, it stays the edited color; and now you can't sample on it [at least with my laptop (ALT+left click)]

Is there a way to sample colors anymore?

Sample them the same way as before, I don't know why they wouldn't work. Both alt-click and middle-click work for me.

The preset colors changing is kind of weird, I just realized how that might be a problem, there is no way to deselect a preset once you pick it. I can change this easily though.

you can sample colours by clicking the set button in the deco menu then press alt left click

When i alt+click the color when im under decoration tools, it goes to gray (64,64,64)

nvm i got it to work, i just had to close and open the application

I have noticed some weird problems with preferences, I don't think they are set right on the first load or something. I will look into it. I did notice that brightness always resets to a lower value though, it doesn't default to 255, so colors look dimmer.

ok thank you, and after i sampled a color i couldnt sample another without it being gray instead

I had this same problem

To sample, you have to make your pen size bigger. The middle click is sampling the color of the cursor, which is really annoying, and would explain why you can only get 2 colors (when it is over light or dark elements). just click your mouse wheel up one, and you should be able to sample normally
