You have to click the 'SET' button to color. This is the drawing tool, and you use it like any other element tool.

I want to change it, so that when you press 'b', it brings you to the deco menu and selects it for you. Also, when you pick a color, I will make it automatically select 'SET' and 'CLR' for you. All of this will be undone when you press 'b' again, it will select what you had before. I think I will start these changes right now actually. (well, maybe not, lots of bug reports are coming in)
