    Right click the file you want to open, click Open with, then select winRAR.

    Edit: Should keep it as default if you do.

    i have winRAR free trial version, and for some reason it hasn't expired in the 8 months i've been using it lol. When you downloaded the file did it give you an option to open with winRAR prior to the download? Try that if right clicking doesn't work for you
