    bat is the file extension
    e.g. NAME.bat

    All the lines that say "echo ." are just there to prettify the visible text output of the program.

    It's more of a hobby really... I made this batch file where I can send files to anyone over the school network. (yew101 and I know each other personally)

    Any network really. Best results are over local network since there's not a firewall between two computers on a local net.

    EDIT: Could hypothetically act on any machine that's connected to the internet. Or any other similar network for that matter.
