Why is there a group registration limit?

I've signed up for five or six groups, and now I've reached some registration limit. Even if one of my registrations is rejected, I still can't do any more registrations. Who came up with this ******* limit in the first place, and why is this limit here in the first place, anyway?

Because I wouldn't want someone with 50 groups under their profile. It's just as annoying as liking 50,000 Facebook pages for no reason. Any Simon (owner) came up with it, swearing at it won't do anymore good.

And why is it that even if a registration is rejected, you can't do any more? Also, how do you delete a group if you own it?

Yeah, I've tried messaging Lockheedmartin about it, he told me to go to Simon. I messaged Simon (2 months ago) and still haven't got an answer.

Yeah, I'm in 3 groups, but i can't join anymore, because ages ago I registed for a group that's inactive, (dumb mistake) now i can't join anymore because im awaiting membership for that group. If i was accepted i would have already resighned. D:<

Well, think about @cctvdude99. He's in loads of groups (He joined them before limit), does it look good if you're in 100 groups? You can't be active in all of them. Current limit is good for me.
