My God this is hard to explain. See, when Apple added Mission control and fullscreen applications on OS X 10.7, any applications that supported fullscreen will not open it unless they were also updated for the new OS, meaning the app opened a new fullscreen desktop in Mission Control. Although it has been more than four months now, support for this has not been added, and since the OS cannot recognize fullscreen, unless it's integrated with Mission Control or some over shit, the application will crash.

Not to discourage you, but it probably won't be. I mean, it's been four months. If they wanted it fixed, it would've been done. As for whether you're using the beta or regular release, it doesn't matter, it's all dependent on the OS.

    https://powdertoy.co.uk/Discussions/Thread/View.html?Thread=9009:

Fullscreen crash looks like a problem with SDL, rather than a problem in the Powder Toy code. I don't think there's much we can do about it.
    http://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1215

SDL developers say this is fixed now, but the fixes probably won't be used with Powder Toy until the next stable release of SDL.

I guess the development version of SDL could be used for the Mac version of Powder Toy, but it may be more buggy than the stable release. Depends whether Simon has time to set it up and test it.

which version of OS X do you use? Also TPT version 89.0 or 89.2? It should work fine, text copy/paste for macs was implemented not too long ago.
