    Snapshot 390 2025-11-10
    • On freedesktop systems: Fix opening URIs possibly hanging the game, and use current working directory as the Path for .desktop shortcuts (since long ago)
    • Fix gaseous elements trending down and right (since long ago)
    • Fix crash when using !get on float types (since 99.0)
    • Add socket.web
    • Disable ALPN for socket.tcp
    • Make GEL give water to BASE
    • LN2 now can condense on strong GLAS when ambient temperature is low enough


    Various bugfixes here. Not mentioned is some other refactors for simulation code / transitions and save loading. Someone already found a bug with state transition that causes LITH melting to have ... interesting results. I'll do another snapshot to fix it.

    The gas movement bug affects THDR too since it's technically using gas movement code.

    Hey guys, I think I found a strange bug in Snapshot 390. When I try to melt LITH using any method, it creates random items out of LITH (it seems like almost every item in the game can appear). I'm sure that this issue doesn’t occur in either Snapshot 389 or Stable 99.3, LITH will melt as expected in those older versions.

    Yep, that's what jacob1 meant above. He also said he'd be releasing another snapshot soon but that's being delayed due to technical difficulties(tm).

    I might be wrong, but since LITH uses ctype to store charge, when it melts, it becomes Molten (ctype)

    • Fix wrong update function being run after state transitions (since 390)


    This snapshot fixes the issue where melting LITH turned into a jumble of random elements. Fun bug, but yeah not intended. If you still want that feature you can always download my RAND script from the script server.
