How do I join groups in tpt?

lately I've seen many posts with marks like "Polish powder" etc, and I am curious how to join any of them. Its not like I am a beginner from the recent plague, I just created my account lately, I play tpt for about 1 year now

It depends on the group. They all have some central organizing place. Some of them have TPT saves, some have forum posts. Some have discords (even though they technically shouldn't).
Some of them also used the legacy "groups" system on the website, for people in the legacy groups system you'll see a note on their profile page. This system was shut down to new groups last year though.
As long as it's still an active group, you should be able to find where they are organized and ask to join. There aren't too many active groups, but there are a few.

Why tho sharing for example discord usernames is not allowed? I fully understand cursing etc, but discord may only spread tpt

I generally don't see an issue with discord usernames when exchanged privately between another user (eg. not advertising it in a save or comments w/o initiation). However, we do have a policy against advertising of discord servers and other third-party community places in public.
This is due to the fact we do not have control, access, or any kind of jurisdiction over those places. Anything can occur in such places and publicly advertising them on the forums, comments, or saves can lead to problems like spam.
