FRAY TEMP Cap Reduced - Why?

    a alternative idea is to "one-way set" FRAY temp into tmp, both increasing FRAY launch velocity cap to 65535(stamps) and not breaking old saves (except little added lag)

    Why do you keep arguing with me over suggestions? I'm not going to make such a big change like raising the temperature cap so late in TPT's development. I'm sure there will be a mod that does it some time. Also, you can count on your fingers the number of suggestions that got into TPT in the last few years, so I don't know what you really expect from me ...

    Besides maybe CRMC, I don't have any plans for TPT at the moment.

    That could work sort of, except if it's anything like WIFI the .tmp just gets overwritten by the .temp.

    then set tmp by (temp:100,rounded)

    i made WIFI like this so if WIFI's tmp2 are different than 0, the tmp won't be changed. this adds channel number from 100 to 65535 (considering TMP is for the channel...)
    it's just much more than needed.

    wouldn't work for WIFI since the data structure it uses only has 100 slots anyway. But yeah, it could be a toggle like that to make FRAY work.

    Also i'm not sure how high FRAY could reasonably go, there is a velocity cap now.

    anything more than 600 velocity and it must disappear or be blocked by something and reduced the velocity below 600, and the limit of time to stamped velocity to be reduced to 8 are definitely above 100 frame.

    My main point is that i'm not adding new things. Maybe you've been oblivious, but there were only two non-beta TPT releases this entire year. It's way too late in TPT's development to start making major changes.

    No need to throw insults at my argument, those are the reasons i'm giving for why i'm not adding that. Anyone who wants to make a mod can feel free to raise it (and at least one person said they would).

    Edit: the other reason (too late to change it / breaks saves) is still a reason though ... just get used to it :(. Which i'm sure you already are since the cap has been 10000K since forever. I don't want to try to re-balance things, deal with broken saves, or add in a strange system where the cap varies. I can fix the FRAY problem separately if needed.
