    My mod will get released first, I plan to get a new release out as fast as I can fix all the current bugs and update to the latest tpt source right now. I haven't put any of those commits in my mod yet, usually updating to the latest source is the last thing I do before releasing a new version.

    If bugs get fixed in tpt because of my mod, then that's great :P. Happens a lot of times. You could also try out http://buildserv.superdoxin.com/ , if you don't want to wait. Hopefully that is based off of the current develop branch but i'm not sure.

    As for the SWCH thing, we just always make sure to maintain compatibility as best we can, most save owners wouldn't be around to be able to fix their creations if SWCH were broken.

    probably as soon as I can get people to test my mac builds, more specifically a tester not using Mavericks that I can give a bunch of builds until I fix the crash that has been breaking TPT too. I just got done updating to the latest TPT source.

    Version 29.0 Released!

    Version 29.0 6/2/14
    New Element: DRAY. Replicates a line of particles in front of it. Modify with .tmp (copyLength), .tmp2 (spaces after copy), and .ctype (element to end copy with when .tmp isn't set). New Wall: AIRBLOCK. Allows all particles but not air. New build system: SCons. Also NEW: mac version, needs testing but will hopefully work on all OS X Versions 10.5+. Fix deco sample with small brush sizes. Fix incorrect coords when placing zoom window, hide cursor when mouse is in menus. Fix some crashes with invalid walls/menusections in lua. Update to latest tpt source, which includes: visual effect for BRAY through FILT, changes to deco on FILT/PHOT, less overpowered QRTZ bunkers, and fix for TNT floodfill crash.

    This update took a ton of work, specifically the new build system (wrote my own SConscript that should work better than TPT's when it's done), and the mac stuff. I'll probably add the SConscript to TPT later, should fix a lot of problems people always get, especially with cross compiling or mac compiling. The mac version is compiled on my computer with a cross compiler I found. If anyone has a mac, please report back to me if the mac version works and does everything how you would expect (it may not be packaged correctly for all I know). I need someone on Mavericks and someone not on Mavericks to test it, and if it works on both I can fix the mac version of official TPT too. Just like TPT version 89.2, the mod probably would work fine on Mavericks but crash on anything older. I added in some compatibility code which may work, if it does the real mac version of TPT can be fixed too.

    The other new things are DRAY and the new wall. These actually didn't take long at all, the element maybe an hour or two and the wall was just something really quick (compiling on this slow computer took the longest). Dray was suggested by minecraft-physics, you should look at the thread if you want to know how it works. I swapped .tmp and .tmp2, and didn't add in the INST mode though. It does have an additional INWR thing, when sparked with INWR it won't do anything on the diagonals (something I really wish more elements in TPT would have done). The new wall just blocks air and allows everything else, might be interesting to use, but you won't be able to upload it in any public saves. In the future, I will hopefully have everything from this version in the official TPT (DRAY, AIRBLOCK wall, new SConscript, mac fixes)

    You can always update in game, that should always work.

    Fix crash when using BRAY. Possibly fix bugs with setting scale.

    It looks like the mac version does work, so as soon as I can convert the SConscript to TPT and update the code, TPT should become a lot easier to compile and work properly on all macs.
