Necroing

Should necroing threads technically be locked? I never see it happen, only a post hidden if someone replys to a necroer.

The literally worst moderation move this forum has made is not deciding to auto-lock threads more than 5-6 months without reply. Even people who respond adequately to said old threads are edged towards making a new thread.

Maybe if you stop letting it bother you, you will realize it isn't a big deal. That would cause more problems than it fixes.

I usually lock necros, I havent really been here to do that or notice them recently.

Necroing isn't that serious an issue, it's like minor spam.

Its just its quite severe when you reply to a necroer ... I dont see why they avoid the issue all together by just locking old threads.

Old threads are sometimes relevant and might need posting in later. Also what Schneumer said is right, it's just some minor spam that isn't really annoying; it's not such a big deal that we need to lock every single thread.
