while I don't support this law, I also don't really like Anonymous at all. They are just hackers causing major problems for many business and government websites, and have not really done anything useful to solve any problems. Taking down websites does absolutely nothing at all, and everyone seems to think they are heroes for hacking all these things somehow. If you seriously think congress is going to listen to a bunch of hackers, that just isn't true. The law will get passed if it gets passed, it won't be avoided by some websites going down (which doesn't even appear to be as much as last time with SOPA/PIPA). They are at least spreading info around about the law, which is good, but unless Obama vetoes the law (which he probably will), then i'm pretty sure the law will end up getting passed.

Also, i'm not sure how real Anonymous even is. Any hacker or small group of them can do something and claim to be part of Anonymous. It might just be a general cover that you can use to gain support and fame for hacking something major. This really isn't right. And I doubt Simon will see this anyway, I hope the tpt website does not go down because I like tpt, and it would just cause a lot of confusion inside of the attached game, making people think tpt doesn't work anymore.

EDIT: This was written before I saw the two posts above me

its congress who passes laws. This has nothing to do with guns.

And no American can take you seriously if you can't even spell constitution right.

You know what was also in your constitution? Counting people like me as 3/5ths of a person.

    ----

and frankly, when the framers wrote the constitution, all they had were rifles that required an absurd amount of time to load, and technology that couldnt even take down a shed. Today we live in the age of nuclear bombs, AK-47's, C-4, lasers, tasers, and missiles. The framers of the constitution could have never guessed that such things could ever possibly exist. should everyone have them? No. For that reason the right to bear arms is outdated. Its also outdated becuase the right to bear arms was written with the idea that if the government started acting up and another 'king George' came into power, The people could stage a second American revolution and start the process over again. Do you think we need to restart everything America has stood for? Would you like that? Another Civil war? I think not.

Guns in America has done more harm then good. do you seriously need a semi-automatic rifle to hunt deer? how many shots does it take? The only thing guns do is murder, which no one wants.

I'll stop there... I dont want to change the subject of this thread, or lead into a muti-page rant on how idiotic people can be sometimes.

    ----

Are they seriously trying to Censor/Watch over the internet again? -_- I pity congress.

Anonymous is anyone, they may have been founded or 'brought up' by hackers but ultimately it's the people that are the group rather than the hackers.

Still, they are nothing but trouble.
