the terrible new deco layer

    About the new deco editer, it makes me feel like quitting TPT. The color picker can be also be annoying but useful too. The buttons are special but dosen't have color, so we get confused all the time. I think you guys should put the b button back and maybe leave this too.

    What's the point in having two menus that do exactly the same thing?

    This only changed the editor. Everything is about as hard to do as it was before. Zooming is easier. You can easily see the colours on the fourth slider. We also partially agreed that the palette or a swatches system would be useful. TPT is not a drawing program. It's an advanced falling sand simulator.

    You are like one other person back then, demanding stuff to happen.
    You all do know that the developers do everything to this game -for free- out of their own spare time, the servers are paid for with Simon's own money, the community is held up by moderators that do everything for free. This game is a community effort.

    Like boxmein said, this isn't an art program, (although it makes a damn good one) but a physics simulator.
    And I have it in my head that somebody f*cked the editor in some ways and improved it in others to make people try to quit using the deco tool without looking like they just went "awww deco sux lez mayk iht sux evn werser nd laf att iht nd laf wenn da uzerz compwain bowt iht!"
    P.S. No offence to the mods when I used quotes, I always do that when I'm being somebody else :P

    What I would love to see in the editor is a way to manually add the values of the color in. That way, one can get the exact color that they want.

     

    EDIT: never mind; thats already a feature!

    I dont know why you guys are complaining then :/

    There's only a few flaws, like not being able to see the selected color clearly. The thing is, these guys are too STUPID to realise what each button does, and too LAZY to find out. You guys do not DESERVE the deco layer.

    It looks like this was just added: Color picker and presets for decoration. I'm not completely sure how it works yet though, or if any of the other issues I noticed were fixed (i should make a github issue for those)
