    For all Australians, today is ANZAC day, where we take a day to remember all those brave men that committed their lives to ensure a free future for all of us.

    Through the horrors of war, fear from tanks and planes that drop bombs, our men stood through it all, and kept Australia the free country that it is.

    I had the feeling, posting this thread, that there would be some full of himself American who would go and represent his racist country.

    ANZAC day is the remembrance of soldiers from Australia and New Zealand who died (initially it was remembrance of Gallipoli) at war.
    You must know what happened in Gallipoli (A major event for Australians in the war)? 50 or 60 thousand Australian soldiers died at Gallipoli... There were international movies made about this...

    That sounds patronising... Australia was in WW1 and WW2 for longer than America... We did more than contribute to pushing back Japan.
