Thermal "exposure" settings.

This would be extremely usefull. I always though it was anoying how if everything was almost at room temperature, it would all be blue and you wouldn't be able to tell which parts were hotter. Things have to be thousands of degrees apart to have a difference in color, which doesn't usually happen. It doesn't look to hard to add this in, so maybe i'll try putting it in my mod.

how did I "derp up" I know we have a heat view, and so does Videogamer555, but we think that adding these effects to the current heat view would be cool, and personally, I find this to be more interesting/exciting as an idea than the updated graphics.

I just added this this to my mod. You can get it here. I think if you click view raw it will download.

The option to change the mode is in the FAV2 menu. Right click to set the manual heat ranges. There are no new color palletes, I might try and find new ones later.

Great job Jacob1, now that you've made a mod, you can submit it to git-hub for the official TPT devs to look at and decide if it should be a feature of an official release.

Actually, this is exactly what heat gradient view is for. Just thought I'd throw that out there. XD

Heat gradient appears broken in the beta. I cannot see the gradients. In fact, it seems to be fancy display with a few graphics missing.

I was looking for a way to change the color palette too. Also for pressure. I was experimenting with a kind of spraycan design (but with heat --> pressure as driving force).

But I could not see the changes in pressure until they reach a value of 1.0 (minimum) where the pixels in pressure view start to turn red (sure I can check with the mouse pointer but this does not give me a good overview and I have to constantly check).

So it would be cool to have a slider like 'sensitivity' for the pressure (and temperature) colors, i.e. higher sensitivity shows slight changes in pressure (changes below pressure 1.0 or any other value that you chose) or temperature better than lower sensitivity (and back to default setting).

P.S.: For the math geeks ;-): a logarithmic scale for pressure/temperature-->color would probably be an idea too.
