Catelite is right, It's not the GoL's cooling problem, if it can take heat, it will cool again, and even if it stayed the same, whatever conducted the heat in the first place wouldn't.

There are other elements than game of life. Besides, positioned correctly, GoL can be very effective. If you post a save, I am sure a few users would help you out.

It's not dumb, you obnoxious derp. Use GOL.
    GoL is effectively a heater/cooler element. :I

Well i dont think if it gets implented shouldn't hurt that much, i mean we got even a freezer element so a Temparature generator would be better than GoL because you can define it, GoL is fixed.
For example i need -30 constant temparature and not some random negative temparature.
I mean we got one for Pressure/Air.

-30 degrees? Try messing around with elements, clone, void and black hole.

And when i want an 100% Destructible? Then i cant use void and black hole.
Also those "Cheating" elements well, we got an Frigetator and they dont use void and black hole to cool your drinks.

    How about:

    REFR
    Refrigirator
    Cools elements to negative infinity.

    or

just use LIFE and trap it in a box of INSL 1 pixel thick.

They don't just magically have some block sitting there holding the temperature without doing anything either, do they?
