    Snapshot 388 2025-06-25
    • Fix STKM never darkening in FIND mode ... unless you were trying to find it (since 98.0)
    • Cache running status of Lua HTTP requests, to ensure that the API is used correctly
    • Fix returning true from event handlers not doing anything (since 387)
    • Apply proxy settings to Lua API sockets
    • Add vorticity confinement
    • Fix infinite air heat near the boundary (since long ago)


    New snapshot (actually old snapshot but I was on vacation and couldn't post this message). A few little bugfixes, vorticity confinement is the most interesting part of this. Basically it makes the air sim have more ripples. Play around and see, it's very visible in anything that acts like an air tunnel.

    dynamic heat display is interesting(especially if you use amb heat tools and tap the button XD(try it with any temp and smallest crusor size))

     

    personally didn't notice Vorticity confinement doing any differences but i didn't do a wind tunnel yet, the display options to show it are helpful though

    still waiting for vorticity bind lol(maybe Shift+0?)

    • Added new element BASE, see the wiki for details
    • Fix the "fullscreen" parameter of tpt.screenshot being inverted (since long ago)
    • Fix simulation-only screenshots being as wide as the entire window (since 369)
    • Remove favourite status as a sorting criterion in element searches


    New element BASE. We did some playtests on Discord and it turned out well, so it's officially merged now. You may be wondering about PAPR (which was also in the playtest) but some changes are needed and @Rebmiami hasn't finished it yet.

    Whats a good way to quickly dilute base? (also i find it funny how you can turn gold to iron, its like lead to gold, but reverse)
