Base is a corrosive alkaline liquid which neutralizes acid.
Base stores its concentration in .life, ranging from 1 to 100, and the elements base can engage with depend on the concentration. The concentration can be reduced by reacting base with something or diluting it. The concentration can be increased by boiling.

Base can be produced from distilled water and smoke with 1/100 chance, if their temperatures are between 40°C and 60°C:

If base's temperature is above 120°C and pressure is below 10, then it has a small chance to boil into BOYL or increase its concentration:
If you are starting with N pixels of base with concentration 1, after boiling the whole amount you are expected to get about N/100 pixels of base with concentration 100.
Base can be diluted with water, distilled water and carbonated water, lowering its concentration:
Base freezes below -0.25°C, the precise freezing temperature getting lower as the concentration gets higher, reaching -25°C when fully concentrated:

If base's life is larger than 2 times an element's hardness, then base can dissolve it. The speed is inversely proportional to hardness, i.e. if acid dissolves a substance faster, then base will dissolve it slower. Both dissolving and rusting decrease base's concentration.
Base does not dissolve salt, salt water, BOYL, mercury, breakable metal and broken metal, soap, various types of clone, and also ice and snow with ctype BASE. Base is also immune to virus, but may dissolve it.
