@NUCLEAR_FOX Only 3 years? it seems like you have been on here a lot longer than that. Hell, I have been on TPT off and on since 2010.

    I'm not worried...you shouldn't be worried...

The Powder Toy has always been our favorite toy!

Nope I been on The Powder Toy since April 12, 2012! 5 days away. Yeah it does feel a bit a whole lot longer than 3 years. But I started playing The Powder Toy in 2008.

    Synergy:

I feel as though this community is slowly dying out. In the last week there have been less than 7 new threads posted in the creation section.

Wondering if any of you developers are concerned about this at all. And if so, are there any strategies in mind to appeal to more people. Like putting the game on Steam for example. I'm sure it could fit in with the rest of the indie titles (steam is far different to what it was in 2011, even software is distributed on Steam now).

It's a difficult thing to market to people though, and I guess marketting is out of the question for a project that doesn't really generate any money.

As a new player myself, I find this to be a shame. Well, I have been trying to get other people here because it is a really cool game.

you thought TPT was closed source? .-. Anyone can edit the code and make pull requests. I try to help people get into development who post on the forums / on IRC.

You can also see what we have been working on here: https://github.com/simtr/The-Powder-Toy/commits/develop

Definitely very slow ... you are correct when you say that I think it is a waste of time to code TPT sometimes. But I also haven't had much time this semester either (my mod is even more stalled than normal TPT at the moment, normally I keep coding that anyway whenever I have time)

Edit: By the way, there are some new unofficial betas here: http://tpt.io/.283539 . Expect more information on those when I have time to set up an update server / other stuff.

Is Simon still active? I know he's not active on the forums like he used to be. But is he still active on IRC and github?
