I still works how it does in my mod, but it's more controllable. Also, the way you suggested it said it would raise the surrounding temperature to a certain number, but I guess this is a little different, it raises by a certain temp, not to it. This might be a little more realistic and allow all three steps to happen. Also, maybe you should put the U235 suggestion in a new thread or the old fusion thread so other people can see it.

Ok then, I see now what you mean and it does sound better that way.
    P.S.: I sent the message.

I have crated multiple fusion bombs, and tested them, but when i did, the fusion "cooled off" the reaction, so the bomb was "weaker" than it fission cousin. i believe that the particles created are at their natural temp, this needs to be fixed.
*note: the fusion produced more air pressure*

That is exactly the problem. I am the one that originally created it in my mod, and I just fixed it and sent a pull request so it can be in the official version. In the new way, the temperature will increase from what it originally was a little.

I think that sing should be removed from the fusion reaction: it would make it a lot easier to make a reactor and an explosion. Plus, it gets kinda annoying with the sing flying around and destroying everything...

it's supposed to simulate the creation of a black hole, the alternative ending of a star. I believe the devs are currently improving the fusion reaction.

Smudge tool's more of an easy gradient tool.

but it would make more sense to replace the sing that being created with black hole...
that way, you could chose to have it take effect or not (via Newtonian gravity)

or, if a powder is needed, gravity bomb.
