And because every computer/electronic thing in the world's time was set to a certain date as a 'starting point', when 2^31-1 seconds were reached (I forgot when this was, but it wasn't that long ago) they apperently spazzed out, like people thought would happen at Jan 1, 2000. 2^31-1 is (was) also the largest known prime number until 1851. So yeah... -
Atomic10 28th May 2015Lol I just figured out something cool that links up with a bunch of other things I've learned about recently. 2^31-1 or 2,147,483,647 is the largest value on a 32 bit scale for all programming languages. This caused some problems in computers and servers because they could only count up to 2^31-1 seconds.
