I just introduced TPT to a bunch of people. An expansive "tutorial mode" would be excellent! It trains you to find elements, either by knowing all the categories, or by using the search tool, teaches you different aspects of the simulation (heat, pressure, particles touching, etc.) and all the other fancy stuff! With TPT's complexity, it would be very useful. Would that be possible to implement?
Can I get my entry published in the TPT News then? I made my contribution.
interesting, probably because there are 5 frames off then 4 frames on. So that lets it move two pixels every cycle (didn't actually count, but only 1-2 pixels probably)
Hey what's this id:2285991 the spark moves slowly around the edges...
the max fps is whatever you set it to, default is 60. You can do tpt.setfpscap(2) for unlimited. What changed between getting 400 and getting 160? Double scale mode has a huge effect on the empty screen fps, because there's basically no other processing going on.
Is 160 now max FPS? I used to get FPS over 400.
I blame SDL. You'll have to test that again in the snapshots once I upgrade to SDL2.
Why do mouse 4 and 5 trigger the mouse 2 action?
Well that clears things up a little. Now I have an idea for a save. Something completely unrelated, as far as I know no one has made a RadioTeleType encoder/decoder on tpt yet. My idea don't steal.
