    Has anyone on this save realized that this wasn't meant to be realistic, it was meant to be art? It has deco and a funny shaped "black hole" for a reason. - some guy from 2022 commenting on a 2012 save

    Looking at the save itself, I think it's just crescent-shaped because it makes it look like the star is closer to the screen, and going into the "front" of the black hole facing towards the screen.

    A black hole is not a "shape" of any sort, it's a single point in space. A singularity. The event horizon, however, is spherical. Not a penguin, in any case.

    A black hole is not a cresent moon shape, they are spheres. And black holes do not emit smoke grids [like space fabric getting sucked into the black hole]. So, I will not vote on this.
