Scaldur is a barren wasteland with a thin co2 atmophere.some underground water,oil. it also as lot of minerals,a magnetophere and is about the size of new horizon . so a pretty good candidate a lot better than mars the step:1 is almost complete

    If the pockets are large enough,you could drill them to release the gas,but it probably wouldn't make much water.

    ok theres enof water to make a 50m ocean and we need 200m more . we also need to import some nitrogen and hydrogen then populate it and strip its resouses
