Finally managed to make it work. Can't make stuff symmetrical, though.

    If you're interested, there are good instructional saves that can be found by the "subframe" tag. And the debug mode I'm talking about can be enabled by putting tpt.setdebug(0x8) into the console.

    Particles get processed left to right, then up to down. If you install the chipmaker script of enter a Special Debug Mode you can step through particle updates with Alt+F and Shift+F, it's just like stepping through regular frames with F but for separate particles. It's really eye-opening when you see how things actually work, this feels like the last step before looking at the actual code of the game.

    I'm still very new to subframe, I barely got this to work... It's a bit too early for better models.

    @maxtes252 Maybe. And that's how this type of engines works unfortunately, the vacant particle IDs should always be later than the mover's.

    They also don't work when you erase one of them, unless you only erase the small one.
