It could be a number of problems:
-Groups could be flooded with requests.
-Simon broke the site again.
-Sent off for dry cleaning and polishing!
-Sticky keys was activated as a result of a noob pressing it.
-It was painted over to save energy costs!
-Moved to the least obvious spot on the page
-or it was stolen for a 10k pound ransom.
