I don't know why so many people bash suggestions to new elements (including non-coders, who don't know what their talking about when they say, "It's too hard to code") but I can guess. I think it's for many reasons, one of them would be that the elements people suggest usually only have one or two uses (like chocolate) or just saves the effort of making something unique from scratch (like a one-way wall). Also:
TPT is not a real-life simulator; it's purpose is to make anything possible. It's like a paper and pencil, an everything simulator, and people pay attention to it because you can do everything in it. I wouldn't call TPT a particle simulator and it might be fun to have a "special" element, but only for like two seconds. It's called a toy because you can play around with it and people spend so much time on that stuff to show their abilities (I guess).
Oh, and I'm not a coder, moderator, developer, or anything like that, so you might want to listen to them instead.
