Hello Petrol here the leader of TPT Times, and I am very proud to announce our first issue and I know many of our writers have worked hard to get their articles up. I hope you like this issue; comments are valued so please leave some. So without further ado, I give you the first issue of TPT Times. Petrol (leader of TPT Times)
The Gum Report
In this week’s issue of The Gum Report, we find out about what goes into gum and what the newest, best gum is. Gum, a sacred confectionary to me and many others. We all love gum, but do we know what’s going in it? We are about to find out. In Gum there are many ingredients but companies keep the flavouring info a secret, but the basic ingredients are gum base, softeners, sweeteners and flavourings. The ingredient that makes gum 'chewable' is gum base. And the question we have all been waiting for, what is the newest, best gum? Well its clearly Big League Chew, Big League Chew is an awesome, flavoursome gum, But I will do a article on it next time. Thanks from Petrol see you next issue. By Petrol (Leader of TPT Times)

Interview (favourite element)
I have been going around TPT surveying people asking for their favourite elements and have had many interesting replies. A user known as randalserrano said that he liked mercury because “It expands, contracts, and conducts” and “It also is really hard to destroy”. One of the smartest replies came from alecnotalex, who said "Spark. Think of how few creations would work without it”. I think he made a good point, although it was in fact his second reply, the first being a rather non-detailed “plutonium”. User25 claimed that photons were the best element saying "They can make beautiful creations but have a dark side and can be used in lasers to DESTROY!" plead-for-destruction, a very active user on the forum said "deut, the pressure and heat it creates is immense but not crazy like thdr or gol and it makes a pretty good shell explosion (I also love it in cased in moving sponge)". Many more users have posted their thoughts and I would like to say a big “THANKYOU!!!” to everyone who took part in the survey.
Me4502's mod version 3.0 is just around the corner with many new exciting features. As on the time of writing the mod will contain a fixed version of the seal element that was to block as much pressure as the temperature before breaking, a very fun and interesting Gel element that moves slowly and clumps, many new lua functions that lua script makers will love, some pre made lua scripts accessible by shift clicking the options button, a particle that generates electricity under pressure, a particle that other particles just go straight through and can be used for decoration purposes, anti-danger which is the opposite of the danger element, clone display which makes clone be the colour of the item it's cloning and finally shrapnel, an element that comes out of grenade and explodes after time into pressure and molten brmt.
Me4502's mod version 3 will be one of the best releases of this epic mod ever released. Don't miss out on getting the mod as soon as it is out by downloading version 2.9 today and using the mods Inbuilt updated to check when the new one is out. Me4502

Most of you probably know The Powder Toy is open source. This not only allows for mods and the like, but it is easy to keep up with Powder Toy development through Github. You just have to download the latest source and compile it. What does the latest source hold? There are two new elements in the Github version of TPT, one is GPMP and the other is PBCN. They are both kept in a new element category, Powered elements.
GPMP is basically PUMP, but for Newtonian gravity. GPMP can be used to create gravitational fields far more powerful than BHOL or WHOL can produce. PBCN is powered BCLN (or breakable PCLN). It is fairly self explanatory.
Both elements are in a working state, as far as I can tell.
Gentlemen (and the few ladies that may be reading this), As part of the first issue of TPT Times I have decided to give you a little insight to the mysterious world of moderation upon the glorious forums. After having sifted through my daily dose of reports (I swear that the little red number only ever increases), I turn my attention the joy that is the Discussion. After having cast the usual "HELP NAO!" and "Lo0k aT th1S pl0X" threads aside, I finally focus upon reading countless pages of tom-foolery. The usual people following the usual trends, pilojo hating upon something in his comical manner, or even if it's just a noob having come along asking for moving solids but none the less the usual Forums. So I leave you all to think about something rather appropriate. Are haters... gonna hate?
