To change the color of a material you must press B and draw with the desired colours onto the materials.
In the console you can change any variable property of an element, like TMP, temperature, life, vx(velocity in x direction), vy(velocity in y direction). The console is opened by the tilde key.(above Tab, left of 1, below Esc)
