MoFo?

    In the powder.def file there is the text MoFo and a few other characters which I cannot post. I understand that these are probably byte values and its a coincidence it formed a word.

    But what is the file for?

    It's actually not a coincidence, check the first 4 bytes of files like updates and thumbnails, you'll see similar things, the old developer though they were ideal.. for some reason.
    The powder.def file contains information like your Username and Password (so you don't have to login every time). It's just for general settings as well, it's used for Auto-update to ensure it updated correctly and the last "Display mode" is saved too.

    Thanks :), and I think the original programmer must of had a bad case of programmers humour. I get that quite a lot :(
