    Ok you know when you put one of your saves in the creation fourm?Isent that Advertising your save?

    no the creation forum would be the only place that you can do that. Anyway the creation forum is for displaying saves to help less experienced members.

    doesn't the advertising refer to programs outside of TPT. and the advertising saves is in relation to advertising the save in the save.

    Oh, ok. but the creation forums purpose is for showing your saves.

    The advertising we don't want is the advertising that is inside of the saves themselves that gives them a disproportionate amount of votes and uses up precious CPU cycles for extra particles that don't even do anything.

    Advertising on the forums is entirely tolerated, so long as you don't go around spamming your saves all over the place. Not really a hole in the rules, people have just been abusing the Creations subforum since day one really.
