Sorry, I am completely clueless when it comes to programming. What's the difference between the SSE and the SSE2 client TPT? I use Windows XP, if that matters.

    Yes, Iv'e tried Google >_>
I just wanted to know if it matters which TPT client I use, because I have no knowledge about programing. It doesn't help me to read about architectures or floating numbers, because I have no idea what those all mean.

basically SSE2 is faster, try them both, if you can run SSE2 use that, if not, use standard.

There is no speed increase that one can notice with SSE3, I am not sure about 4.x.

You can always compile it yourself.

SSE2 runs smooth, so Iv'e been using it all this time. I just guesses that since I have an advanced processor (Quad core) it would make sense for it to support a newer architecture.

Considering SSE2 is just shy of 10 years old, 95% of all processors support it nowadays so anyone who visits the forum should be able to use it. An SSE version in the "other" section of the downloads page would probably create less posts about SSE/SSE2 than having both executables in the main download.
