Really not needed. If you keep on replacing your save instead of reloading, simply go to the save view, and click the little calendar. This will show the history of saves. Move to an earlier save to replace what you accidentally saved over.

The little 7 in the corner of the icons. Then, open up each one to find your version. The first one is the previous save from the current one, and so on.

If you mean when the box comes up saying Title:.... Description:..... publish...... and has a little picture of the creation, then just push "X" once at top right as if you were exiting out of PT. then it will dissapear.

No he means the button that just saves it. Not the button that brings up that box.

he means when you click the 'save under current name' button. it does not have any confirmation, which i think it should.

Confimation must be, I pressed the button accidentally, and I lost my creation.
