PowderToy freeze my computer, need "help"

    Hi everyone !

I've been playing PowderToy (with a big problem) for a while and it start to bother me A LOT.

Each time I launch PT, a few minutes (sometimes seconds) later my computer freeze and I have to reboot. I know it come from my RAM (Not fully working, can't even complete a Memtest. I can't replace it for the moment tho) but something is very strange here :

I can play as long as I want with any other game (Crysis, Kane & Lynch 2, Shores of Hazeron, GTA IV & Stuff) or let the computer run for days, code, make movies etc, without problems.

So, does somebody know why it happens only with PT (or maybe some kind of temporary solution to avoid them) ? I'd like to be able to finish some experiments without saving after each pixel, knowing a freeze is coming soon

    Thanks a lot !

I don't know why that is exactly, but if I were you, I would buy new RAM

I don't know how to solve your problem but you really should save up replace your RAM as fast as you can if you can't complete a memtest, bad hardware is bad for good hardware so it's best to pay sooner rather than later and it isn't running optimally.

BTW it is weird you can run crysis but not TPT XD

    Windows 7 x86? WHY?

Just get some new RAM. It might affect some of your other hardware too
