How do I use "replace mode"?

    It used to be the ~ key, but now that goes for console. What do I use now?

    Also in the console you can say set type (whatever you want to change) (whatever you want to change it to)
    without the brackets.

    I wish i could try it out on the mac, but my mac is too old to use the powder toy. sorry
    Logic, based on the layout of the keyboards tells me "help" button.
