1/ How can I make an oscillating device ?
I tried to make something with GOL and PTCT but it not working. Is it even possible ?

By oscillating device, I mean mainly an electronic oscillating device.

    2/ How to model a capacitor ?

I've got an idea for you. Obvious the oscillating device would have to apply pressure to powders, right? Since solids do not move. So if you were to use a wall in which you can enclose a liquid, like water, and put pump on the bottom (for electric control.) The water would move up and down(with the pump), perhaps pushing a gas?

    Here's a briefly made illustration...

P.S. Post your attempt with GOL, so we can help you troubleshoot it.

Oscillating device: a "switch" (not the element) opening and closing at regular interval (every n frames). I could produce pseudo AC current... In fact, rather square waves.

I avoid to post save during office hours. Especially with the present "atmosphere" in oil and gas business....
