how do you add life to elements?

    i've seen a lot of people add life to elements like they canged the color of acid by doing that or they made fire last longer so I was just wondering how to do that

    You can do it via the console, instructions on the wiki.

    Type into the console (set life {whatever} {number}).

    Interesting reactions:
    set life bray 0 = invisible bray that never fades away.
    set life dmnd [n] = n=number, diamond will disappear when life reaches 0
    set life acid 45 = acid is dissolved by everything!
